Ahmed Mohamed

Chief Executive Officer

Ahmed is a visionary leader with over several years of experience in Ethical Financing. As the CEO and founder of Prairies Crossing, he has built a reputation for driving growth and innovation, and for creating a dynamic and collaborative work culture. Ahmed holds a Bachelor's degree in Islamic Law From The Islamic University of Madinah and a Master's degree in Business Law from International Islamic University Malaysia and Sustainable Business Strategy from Harvard Business School. Prior to founding Prairies Crossing, he managed and lead two nonprofit organizations and founded Academy 4.0 an online tutoring platform for Albertans. Ahmed is known for his collaborative approach and his ability to inspire and motivate his team. He believes in creating a culture of innovation and creativity, where everyone's ideas are valued, and where people are encouraged to take risks and experiment.

Guled Kassim

Chief Investment Officer

Guled Kassim brings 16 years of distinguished experience in Real Estate and Commercial Finance. As Somalia's Minister of Telecommunications from 2015 to 2016, he played a pivotal role in advancing the 2017 Telecommunications Law, which led to the creation of the Somali Telecommunications Commission. His expertise also includes Risk Management and Investment Consulting, where he offers strategic guidance to clients. Currently, he serves as the Managing Partner at KFT Management, a leading real estate and asset management company in the U.S.

Ahmed Noor

Head of Africa

Ahmed brings over 2 decades of public service, mainly from Kenya, providing agricultural/livestock extension services, and participatory community development planning that involved engagement of community groups and other stakeholders in addressing challenges that needed high impact solutions. Ahmed got his Master of Science Degree in Range Resource Management from the University of Nairobi, Kenya, and Diploma in Animal Science from Egerton University, Kenya. After graduation with a First-Class Honours BSc. (Cum Laude) in Animal Business from Texas Tech University, U.S.A., Ahmed worked with a World-Bank funded poverty reduction project amongst nomadic pastoral communities of North-Eastern Kenya.
Ahmed was recognized in the International Journal of Animal Science, July 1991 issue, for his contribution to the development of Animal Science. He was awarded membership into the prestigious Golden Key International Honour Society for outstanding scholastic achievement and excellence. Ahmed was also given Scholar Award by the American Society of Animal Science for high scholarship and contribution to animal science, as well as membership of the Honour Society of Agriculture (U.S.A.) in recognition of academic excellence and service to agricultural sciences.

Mohamed Bihi

Business Development Manager

Mohamed is a Highly motivated and results-driven Serial Entrepreneur with a proven track record of identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the Edmonton area and building lasting relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth. He is currently oversees the operations of two businesses Amana Auto and Northside Accessories.

Imran Syed

Program Manager

Imran helps oversee the company's day-to-day global operations and ensures that the organization, including its investment, client, risk and technology functions, have the necessary connectivity, coordination and operating processes.
A forward-thinking leader, Imran is instrumental in aligning operational strategies with the organization's mission and vision.  Imran has effectively lead and directed team, resulting in widespread accolade and recognition as fastest growing online media by Forbes Middle East in 2012. Imran holds a Masters Degree in Information Systems from Australia.

Abdur-rizaq Muhammed 

Head of Middle East

Abdur-rizak In enrolled at the Islamic University of Madinah whereby he graduated from the college of Shariah in 2014, was accepted into the Master's program, graduating in 2019. His research topic was Jurisprudence issues Related to the Chapters of Transactions from Al-Mughni by Ibn Qudamah: A Compilation and Study, whereby he obtained a distinction with honor. He is currently pursuing his doctorate and has participated in seminars and lectures related to Islamic finance.
